Want to contribute to FIFA Scouting Tips?

As you may have read in my last post, come September I’m going to be starting a postgraduate course. As it’s going to be a pretty intensive course, I will probably have less spare time to work on this website. I don’t think that’s very fair to you and to everyone who reads FIFA Scouting Tips, and I want to make sure that the content (guides, articles and everything else) comes out on time regardless of the potential disruptions.

That’s why I’ve been thinking about taking on additional contributors. It was suggested to me a while ago and I’ve been giving it some thought, and I think it could be one way to solve this problem.

What would it involve? Well, you could help out with the So You Want A and Lower League Gems series of articles, or with writing the scouting guide, for example. FIFA 14 is going to have a very different scouting system (what with real player scouting and no OVR stats) and any help researching how it all works would be more than welcome 🙂

But I’d also like to hear your suggestions. If you have any thoughts or ideas on what you could bring to the site – new articles, series, anything you’ve discovered, that sort of thing – I’d be more than happy to hear them. As this site expands I’m very open to hearing where people would like it to go. Just send me an email or leave a comment. Even if you don’t feel you can be a contributor, if there’s anything you’d like to see me add to FIFA Scouting Tips for the new season, please share it below!

But right now I can’t really say what sort of help I’d need, or how much. It may in fact turn out that I have less work than expected and help isn’t needed after all. I don’t really know right now, so this is just a tentative suggestion rather than anything set in stone. First and foremost, I want to see what people’s thoughts are on the matter, rather than committing to anything at this particular moment.

As I say, let me know what you think.

Thanks again for all your support and comments 🙂
