Apologies for the slow pace of updated articles, a few days ago I injured my foot playing football (I thought it may have been fractured, luckily it wasn’t), so I’ve been a bit preoccupied.
Anyway, now we move on to left midfielders. As usual, in an attempt to make this relevant to as many players as possible, I have not included any left midfielders whose OVR is above 73 – this way you can keep your costs down and have some cash left over for other purchases (be they real players or new scouts). Furthermore, I have listed the players by cost, with the cheapest at the top of each sub-group (players are grouped by potential).
Here are my recommendations:
- Max Gradel
- Madson
- Nicolás Colazo
Max Gradel is my first recommendation because he simply has so much going for him. He is very fast (acceleration 91, sprint 92), has great stamina (85), and has tremendous dribbling and ball control skills. His long shots pack a real punch, plus he has a great weak foot. He’s even good at penalties. He’s the third choice LM at Saint-Etienne (although really he’s a LW), so snap him up before his talent goes to waste.
A huge advantage that Madson possesses is that he’s totally free because he plays for Al-Khor in Qatar, a team that are not in the game. To get him, go to edit the selections for the Brazilian national team, find Madson amongst the LMs, add him to the team, then immediately replace him with the player who originally made way for him. Start a new career, and he’ll be waiting for you in the free agents. Like Gradel, Madson is more of a LW than a LM. He is very quick and probably has one of the best balance stats in the game (95). His dribbling is 82 and, like Gradel, he excels at long shots. All this, plus the fact that you can get him for free, means choosing him is a no-brainer.
Unlike the previous two players, Nicolás Colazo is a LM more than a winger, a player better suited to supplying passes and crosses to the forwards than to running at defenders and taking them on. Don’t be afraid to use him for these purposes, however, as he has 4 star skill moves and is more than capable of beating opposing players. His vision and passing are his main strengths and they will get even better as he grows. He’s very cheap, and there’s even the bonus of him having great stamina, so buy him if your team is lacking a consistent supplier for your forwards.
Please bear in mind that these figures may not be exactly the same on your game. These stats are taken from my own personal experiences, but are likely to be very similar to those on your own game. The best thing to do is to make sure you keep checking these players, as their prices may drop radically after a while.
Finally, if you’ve had any experiences of good players’ prices changing wildly (especially if their price drops), please post it in the comments!
So, without further ado, here are the players:
